Having grown up
north of The Arctic Circle in Norway,
I am familiar with a range of natural materials and old traditions of making textiles,
and my mum showed me from an early age
what she had learned from her own mum.
I draw from this well when I create my own craft.I find much inspiration in the richness and depth of middle eastern colours and patterns, and in the beauty of nature.
